This year the runways came alive with a riot of rainbow colours, prints, feathers, frills, and chunky beads all with a heavy tribal accent. Designers drew inspiration from exotic far flung destinations taking you on a ride from the African plains to the Far East. Etro and Hermes chanelled the look with their Spring/Summer ’08 collections. Shows were awash with saris, safari jackets, embroidery and ethnic scarves.
